![]() ![]() I don’t want this topic to end up too much about actual ranks. Bhutan really started up a substantial, and incredible concept to quantify. There is at least a decent attempt to include up to 72 Qualities of Happiness, including Psychologically Feeling Well, Ecology, Education, Culture, Living Standards, Time Use, Community Vitality, Overall Health, and Quality of Life. I think everyone is morally obligated to respect Global Happiness Index. it's subjective!ĭo you realize how contradicting this last sentence and the rest of your post are? The thing is happiness is a very cultural thing. Its also BS sterile, miserable, dark, cold, ultra politically correct, overuled sweden is happier than italy, spain or portugal! while americans obsess with careers south americans for example obsess with family and cuisine and culture. The fact is happiness is cultural, and its completely BS that America is happier than south America for example (ive visited both places widely), the US is a VERY STRESSFUL PLACE TO LIVE, I have yet to see a more competitive workholic society besides the japanese who arent exactly happy people!Īmericans work more than any other people on this planet, get less vacation and leisure time, are often most likely to be overweight and suffer from health issues without having proper health insurance and own more money than most people around. ![]() I know that not all westerners are not obsessed with money, but if you live in london YOU HAVE TO CARE about money, because living there is VERY EXPENSIVE! I visited all of the western world, I am a westerner myself. I don't think we need articles on the internet to tell us who is happy or not. You can't even measure happiness so its kind of sad to see intelligent posters on here taking a thread like this seriously. People in America, UK and the rest of the Western world aren't all stressed out about money and materialistic stuff, get over it. Problem is this is not accurate of the culture in Cuba and London. ![]()
